Unhallowed – John P. Logsdon
For fans of a previous series
I didn’t make it to the end of the book, which is unusual for me. Unoriginal tropes and wooden writing. And an uninteresting protagonist (who lectures the reader too much), which is a problem at the start of what is apparently meant to be a new series. I was surprised to see consistntly-high ratings for what I thought was a labored effort. I’m guessing that readers who are enthusiastic about the previous series are enthusiastic about this one.
