Ignite the Fire – Karen Chance

There’s a good story trying to get out of this two-part book, but bad pacing gets in its way. The Cassandra Palmer series has always been prone to non-stop action. In “Ignite the Fire”, non-stop action crowds out almost everything else. Important conversations, important changes to the character and her relationships, important revelations - they all whiz by. Or try to whiz by, because they’re usually interrupted.
